This position is responsible for the efficient and effective day to day operational performance of the assigned Monkey Joe’s location(s).
Summary of essential job functions:
Control sales and inventory through approved point of sale management system
General knowledge in all facets of the businessManage groups, parties and walk-in play
Coordinate party schedule
Operate merchandise and concession area
Generate inventory reports and order supplies as approved by the Operational Manager
Ensure that location is organized, clean and presentable at all times
Responsible for overseeing the safety of all guest and resolving guest concerns
Ensure store is secure from internal and external theft, including securing all cash transactions
Oversee party plans, assignments, setup, customer satisfaction, etc.
Oversee Monkey Joe’s daily appearance policies and procedures
Manage and review daily, weekly, monthly, yearly sales goalsImplement sales campaigns, programs, initiatives as directed by ownership
Expected to be at location during busiest hoursProvide operational reports, information, problems, repairs needed, etc. to Operational Manager keeping him/her informed of all matters relating to the operations of the locationProvide Employee/Human Resource reports, information, problems, issues to ownership
Responsible for hiring and firing location employees with the approval by ownership.
Provide employee training, manage work responsibilities and set schedules with TMA Play Director approvalEnsure all policies and procedures are being followedMinimum requirements:
General knowledge of retail store operations
Past experience in hospitality or education
Past experience as an assistant manager or manager in a related field preferred
Ability to multi-taskSense of urgency and ability to respond to a fast-paced environment
Efficient at problem resolution
Ability to direct and lead others
Strong customer service skills
Management: 1 Year
Play Area Referee/Party Coordinator Assistant: This position is responsible for overseeing activities of the play area and assisting where needed with scheduled parties. Duties include but are not limited to: Monitor guests and promote safe play, assist party coordinator with any party setup, clean up, plans, etc. Responsible for daily cleaning of all areas. Monitor and ensure compliance with jump capacities and that all safety policies and procedures are being followed. Assist with concession areas and other areas as directed by Manager or Team Lead.
Clean appearance, knowledge of hospitality or education a plus. Positive, outgoing personality required. Ability to multi-task and respond in a fast paced environment. Efficient at problem resolution, strong customer service skills and the ability to follow set guidelines and procedures.
