Parents Resolve to Have a Great 2018!

Posted on Dec 18, 2017

If there’s one inescapable new year’s tradition, it’s the making of resolutions (of course, whether or not we keep those resolutions is another story). Here at Monkey Joe’s Copperfield Crossing, we hear a lot about what northwest Houston parents are resolving for 2018. Check out some of our favorites:

  • Plan More Playdates. Obviously we are super excited about this one! Playdates are important for kids in so many ways--socialization, physical activity, learning to share, and more. Plus, it leads into the next parent resolution...
  • Take More Me Time. This sounds great, doesn’t it? It’s important for kids to see their parents enjoying their own activities so that they grow up to be well-rounded adults. Remember: at Monkey Joe’s you can relax in our Parent Zone, which has free wifi and easy access to the concession stand.
  • Kill the Screen! Pulling kids away from TVs, tablets, and computers can feel like a monumental task, but it can be done. Check out some of our tips here, and remember: substitute something fun (like a trip to Monkey Joe’s) and you’ll avoid meltdowns!
  • Save Money. Tightening the budget to recover from holiday excess doesn’t have to mean sacrificing fun. Ask grandparents for Frequent Jumper Cards or Monkey Joe’s gift cards to save the most per visit, and be sure to follow us on Facebook to get a first look at all our upcoming specials, discounts, and more.

Kids aren’t the only ones who need a little TLC in the new year! Parents, let’s work together to make 2018 a great one for all of us.
